Scoopwise (“Scoopwise,” the “Service”) is operated by Wanderverse Studios LLC, a Florida limited liability company (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website at scoopwise.app, our web portal, and our mobile app, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Account and identity information
You sign in with Google or Apple. We receive your name, email address, and a unique identifier from your chosen provider. We never see or store your Google or Apple password.
Business and operational data you provide
To run the Service, you and your drivers enter operational data — trucks, products and their prices and costs, shifts, sales events, stop labels, and estimated mileage. This is the core data Scoopwise reconciles and reports on.
Technical data
Our infrastructure providers automatically collect limited technical data — such as IP address, device and browser type, and timestamps — in server logs for security, debugging, and reliability.
What we do not collect
We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not use cookies beyond those strictly necessary to keep you signed in. We do not sell your personal information.
Payment information
If and when you purchase a paid plan, payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are provided directly to Stripe and handled under Stripe’s terms; we do not store full payment card numbers.
How we use information
- Provide and operate the Service — authentication, reconciliation, KPIs, and exports.
- Secure, maintain, and improve the Service and prevent abuse.
- Respond to your support requests and communicate with you about the Service.
- Comply with legal obligations.
Google user data
Scoopwise’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google sign-in data solely to authenticate you and create your account; we do not transfer or use it for advertising.
How we share information
We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf to operate Scoopwise, and only as needed:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and storage of your account and operational data.
- Vercel — hosting of our website and web portal.
- Cloudflare — domain and DNS.
- PowerSync — syncing data between the mobile app and our database.
- Apple and Google — sign-in.
- Stripe — payment processing (once paid plans are available).
These providers may access your information only as necessary to perform services for us, and are obligated to protect it.
We may also disclose information to comply with the law, enforce our terms, protect our rights and our users, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Data retention
We retain your information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information, except for limited data retained for those purposes or held in routine backups for a limited period.
Your rights and choices
You may request to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and you may delete your account at any time. To make a request, email us at scoopwise.icecream@gmail.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the GDPR; we honor those rights where they apply.
Account deletion
You can delete your account and associated personal data from within the app or by emailing scoopwise.icecream@gmail.com. Deletion removes your account record and personal data, subject to the limited retention described above.
California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request access to or deletion of it, and to correct inaccurate information. We do not sell your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at scoopwise.icecream@gmail.com — we will not discriminate against you for doing so.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, database-level tenant isolation so one operator can never read another’s data, and delegated sign-in through Apple and Google. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Scoopwise is a business tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Where data is processed
We are based in the United States and process data there. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be processed in the United States.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
